After the successful launch of the OnePlus Buds 3, everyone was eagerly waiting for the next Pro model. However, after seeing the OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Pro, the highly anticipated OnePlus Buds Pro 3 is now getting ready to take the stage. Ahead of the launch, an exclusive leak has emerged about the design, colors, and specifications of the OnePlus Buds Pro 3. Here are the details.
OnePlus Buds Pro 3 design
At first glance at the design of the OnePlus Buds Pro 3, we see that it has a similar case design to the Nord Buds 3 Pro. The case opens vertically and features a leather lining on the front, a pairing button on the right, and a Type-C port on the bottom. Users will be able to choose between two color options: Midnight Opus (black) and Lunar Radiance (a mix of silver and gold).
The glossy stems contrast nicely with the matte-finish earbuds and ear tips, and feature L and R engravings for easy identification. The in-ear style earphones feature windshields on the stems. The earbuds feature the words “Co-created with Dynaudio” and the ONEPLUS logo on the front of the case. The case measures 6.5 x 5.2 x 2.6 cm and weighs 61 grams.
Specifications
The OnePlus Buds Pro 3 will offer an impressive 43 hours of battery life, 4 hours more than its predecessor. Thanks to the fast charging feature, you can enjoy 5 hours of music with just 10 minutes of charging. The earphones will be IP55 certified to be resistant to dust, water, sweat, and rain. Using the latest Bluetooth 5.4 version, the Buds Pro 3 will deliver ultra-low latency audio of just 94 milliseconds.
As for audio, these earbuds will feature a dual-driver setup: an 11mm woofer and a 6mm tweeter, each with their own DAC (Digital-to-Analog Converter). Support for the LHDC 5.0 audio codec will deliver stereo-quality clarity and depth with bitrates of up to 1 Mbps and 24-bit/192 kHz audio. Noise cancellation has been increased to 50 dB from 49 dB on its predecessor, the Buds Pro 2, and will be adaptive to the environment. Conversations and voice calls will be twice as clear thanks to the improved noise cancellation.
Dynaudio EQ will be a key feature for the Buds Pro 3. It promises “meticulously balanced notes,” offering preset EQs (sound signatures) specific to different music genres. The Buds Pro 3 will offer dual-connectivity support, allowing you to connect to two devices at the same time; whether Android, iOS, Windows, smartphones, tablets or computers.
